Help our team gear up for change
Hello friends,
In June of 2025 I was diagnosed with ALS after four years of trying to figure out what was going on with my body. This was devastating news to me and my family. When my wife Nancy and I heard about the Revolution Ride we knew right away this would be a wonderful way for people to come together as a team and "do something"!
Our team of family and friends is participating in the 2025 ALS Canada Revolution Ride in support of people living with ALS and their families.
They say that having support is most important to navigate this journey!
Your support will help to:
- Further scientific progress by investing in the national ALS Canada Research Program, which funds the most promising ALS research. This program provides peer-reviewed grants to researchers whose work has the greatest potential to advance the field of ALS. There’s been more progress made in ALS research in the last five years than over the last century – we need to keep building on this momentum.
- Create a better day-to-day reality for people and families living with ALS by providing community-based support throughout Ontario – such as home visits and support groups – as well as necessary medical equipment, including hospital beds, wheelchairs, stairlifts, and other items that increase safety in the home, at no cost to the people who need them.
Your help is needed. Please consider supporting us by making a donation in the top right corner. Thank you so much to everyone who has supported our ALS Revolution Ride Team to date. The kindness, generosity and inspiration from our community has touched our hearts! It has inspired us to reset our goals to higher levels than we could have ever imagined! Together we will make a difference!
Thank you so much for your support!
Scott and the Sprocket Rockets :)
