Help me gear up for change!

Hello friends,

As many of you know, in June of 2025 Scott was diagnosed with ALS after four years of trying to figure out what was going on with his body.  This was devastating news for him as he has always been so fit and pretty much able to accomplish anything.  Now walking can be hard and frustrating but he continues to persevere going to the gym or pool daily to "fight the good fight".  When we heard about the Revolution Ride we knew right away this would be a wonderful way for people who have shown so much care and love to our family to come together as a team and "do something"!

So, Scott's team of "Sprocket Rockets" have decided to participate in the 2025 ALS Canada Revolution Ride in support of people living with ALS and their families.

They say that having support is the most important ingredient to navigate this journey!  From the hearts of our entire family we thank you so very much.

Your support will help to:

  • Further scientific progress by investing in the national ALS Canada Research Program, which funds the most promising ALS research. This program provides peer-reviewed grants to researchers whose work has the greatest potential to advance the field of ALS. There’s been more progress made in ALS research in the last five years than over the last century – we need to keep building on this momentum.
  • Create a better day-to-day reality for people and families living with ALS by providing community-based support throughout Ontario – such as home visits and support groups – as well as necessary medical equipment, including hospital beds, wheelchairs, stairlifts, and other items that increase safety in the home, at no cost to the people who need them.

Your help is needed. Please consider supporting me by making a donation in the top right corner. Let’s ride together to end ALS.

Thank you again for your support!
